Bungalow #9

Bungalow #9 was built in 1928 as one of nine cottages to house Bureau of Reclamation employees who were building the Owyhee Dam.  During the Owyhee Project, this site was its own little community with housing provided for workers, a store, a school, a post office, a restaurant, a movie theater, and just about anything a small town would have for its residents.

In 2001 the cottage was renovated to what is now known as Bungalow #9.  Since that time there have been some upgrades and maintenance done to keep Bungalow #9 a place where our guests can enjoy the beautiful Owyhee River canyon.

Bungalow #9 is a nice 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with a lot to offer with a fully furnished kitchen, dining table for six, living room with TV & DVD player, master bedroom with a queen size bed, 2nd bedroom with 2 bunk-beds, bathroom with shower, enclosed back porch, propane BBQ, picnic tables, covered picnic area, and a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the Owyhee River Canyon.
